How the Heimdallone app is organised, and how the sidebar adapts to your role.
The Heimdallone app groups modules into areas in the left sidebar. What you see depends on your role — modules you can't access are hidden, not just disabled.
Role-aware navigation
Employees see self-service entries (their payslips, leave, requests). Managers additionally see team views. Admins see configuration and org-wide modules.
Areas
- People & HR — employees, contracts, onboarding/offboarding, performance, assets.
- Time — attendance, rosters, leave, holidays, biometric devices.
- Payroll — runs, payslips, country rules, reconciliation.
- Finance — costing, budgets, general ledger.
- Operate — helpdesk, projects, notifications.
- Insights — analytics dashboards (scoped by role).
- Administration — tenant settings, RBAC, audit logs, migration.
Modules still in design review are labelled Preview in the sidebar and in these docs. Preview data is sample/demo, never presented as live.
