Your first sign-in (migrated users)

What migrated employees see the first time they sign in to Heimdallone v2 — the welcome notice and how to review and update your profile.

EmployeeMigrationSelf-Service

If your account was moved from the previous (v1) system, the first time you sign in to Heimdallone v2 you'll see a short welcome notice. This page explains what it asks and how to act on it.

The welcome notice

The notice confirms that your account and profile were migrated and asks you to review your details. It must be acknowledged before you continue — it will not close on its own or by clicking outside it.

You have two choices:

Review my profile

Marks the notice as acknowledged and takes you straight to your own profile so you can check and update your details.

I understand — continue

Marks the notice as acknowledged and closes it. You can review your profile later from your profile page.

You'll only see it once

Once acknowledged, the notice does not appear again.

What to review

Contact details. Confirm your email, phone, address, and emergency contact are correct.
Tax & statutory details. Where you're allowed to edit them, check your TIN, NIS, and number of dependent children — these affect your pay.
New features. Take a look at the modules now available to you (leave, payslips, roster, helpdesk, and more).
Report anything wrong. If any payroll, leave, or attendance data looks incorrect, contact HR — historical records are preserved exactly, and corrections go through a proper, audited process.

Passwords & sign-in

How you sign in depends on how your account was migrated:

  • If you used an email and password before, the same password continues to work — it is never reset or weakened by the migration.
  • If your sign-in could not be carried over safely, you'll be guided through a secure password reset / invitation instead. Your password is never fabricated or stored in plain text.
  • Google sign-in is available only where it has been enabled for your account.

No fake accounts

The migration never creates placeholder email addresses. If you don't have a login yet but should, ask HR — see the admin login checklist.
