Google sign-in
How Google sign-in works in Heimdallone, who it's available to, and how it carries over from a previous system.

Heimdallone supports signing in with Google Workspace alongside email/password and passkeys.
For users
On the sign-in screen, choose Google Workspace and continue with your Google account. If you used Google to sign in to the previous system, the same Google sign-in continues to work after migration.
For admins
- Google sign-in is enabled by an administrator at the platform level. The Google connection's credentials live in secure configuration only — never in the app and never in documentation.
- Google sign-in is available like before — it isn't restricted to owners.
- Each person still maps to one member with one access role; signing in with Google doesn't change what they can do.
Secrets stay out of the app
Google client credentials are never shown in the app, stored with employee data, or written into help content. They are managed in protected configuration by the administrator.
What to check
- Users who relied on Google before can still sign in with it after go-live.
- The expected redirect for Heimdallone is configured on the Google side (your administrator handles this during setup).
